World Spine Care presented a panel discussion on the Societal and Economic Impact of Spinal Disorders in honor of World Spine Day. Moderator, Vincent Setlhare, was joined by some of the world’s leading experts on spine health, including World Spine Care Founder, Dr. Scott Haldeman and guest panelists Simon Degenais, Bart Green, Eric Hurwitz, and Deborah Kopansky-Giles, who spoke on a variety of topics, including:

  • The prevalence, severity and health impact of spinal disorders and related disability.

  • The economic impact of spinal disorders, including direct and indirect) costs.

  • Co-morbidities and risk factors associated with spinal disorders.

Nathan Cashion is the Director of Digital Communications. He started volunteering with World Spine Care as a social media coordinator during chiropractic school. He traveled to Navi Mumbai, India, with the clinical team to establish the MGM Collaboration project.
